Biography: Hernan Alejandro (Alex) Sanchez |
As a sports-minded kid growing up in Argentina, Alex was lucky enough to be exposed to
some of the top coaches in Latin America. He began playing soccer when
he was only 4 years old. Through hard work and dedication he rose from
neighborhood player to competitive league soccer at the well-known
River Plate Soccer Club in Buenos Aires.
As an adult, Alex has continued his interest in soccer
as a player, coach and private trainer. In the 2005-2006 season, his
coaching efforts helped the Chappaqua Soccer League U-10 Boys’ Team
earn first place in their division. That same season, Alex coached both
the Armonk Soccer League U-14 Girls’ Team and the Chappaqua
Soccer League U-11 Girls’ Team with winning results—each
team earned 2nd place in their division.
Soccer is a great way to keep fit, but it’s
not the only way. Five years ago, Alex began to use his knowledge and
expertise to help others reach their fitness goals. As a personal trainer
in Northern Westchester, Alex has worked with dozens of clients to improve
their strength, flexibility, and endurance. Clients have ranged from
those who have never before worked out to triatheletes. Some clients
have been recovering from injury. All of Alex’s clients have benefited
from his patience, his work ethic and his belief that everyone
can achieve their fitness goals. |
